Hi, I'm Katherine
A California native who found her way to the desert.
Raised in the beach town of Santa Cruz, CA my path to photography wasn’t something I had planned, but rather it was something I felt pulled toward. What started with a camera in college quickly became something much deeper: a way to preserve emotion, connection, and the moments that matter most.
Now based in Albuquerque, I’ve fallen in love with capturing the beauty of the Southwest while continuing to document love stories along the California coastline- two places that feel equally like home to me.

At the heart of it all is a deep love for people and the stories they carry. I don’t take lightly what it means to be invited into a wedding day, and I approach each one with intention, care, and a genuine desire to serve my couples well.
I’ll guide you when needed, step back when it matters, and create space for moments to unfold naturally.
I’m a wife, a mom, Jesus follower, and someone who finds a lot of joy in the simple, everyday moments: slow mornings, fresh sourdough, and laughing a little too hard at my own jokes.

Not only was she an expert photographer and was able to efficiently reign in our entire bridal party and family, but she also doubled as a semi wedding planner the day of, correcting wrongs and making sure our day went smoothly. She sent our preview so quickly after our wedding, which was so appreciated. The photos she took were beautiful, and original. She is creative, kind, professional, and all around amazing.
